Sensors & Controls
- Sensors: Each AirPod Pro includes dual beamforming microphones, an inward-facing microphone, a skin-detect sensor, a motion-detecting accelerometer, a speech-detecting accelerometer, and touch controls.
- Controls:
- Press once: Play/pause media, answer a call, or mute/unmute.
- Press twice: Skip forward or end a call.
- Press three times: Skip back.
- Press and hold: Switch between listening modes (Active Noise Cancellation/Transparency/Adaptive Audio).
- Swipe up or down: Adjust volume using Touch control on the stem.

Battery Life
With Active Noise Cancellation on, the AirPods Pro provide up to 6 hours of listening time, and up to 30 hours total with the charging case. A quick 5-minute charge in the case can provide about 1 hour of listening time.
Size, Weight, & Durability (USB-C Model)
Each AirPod Pro measures 1.22 inches (30.9 mm) in height, 0.86 inch (21.8 mm) in width, and weighs 0.19 ounce (5.3 grams). The MagSafe Charging Case (USB-C) is 1.78 inches (45.2 mm) high, 2.39 inches (60.6 mm) wide, and weighs 1.79 ounces (50.8 grams). Both the AirPods Pro and the case have an IP54 rating for dust, sweat. The case supports charging with MagSafe, Apple Watch, Qi-certified chargers, or via the USB-C connector.
